In addition, PHOVA Technology has developed an innovative artificial respirator, the OTECH'AIR, that helps emergency medical teams in their efforts to cope with severe health crises in Africa. PHOVA Technology works with Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) ,and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) as well as High Throughput Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory (HTMR) to advance R&D and ensure the transition to a country at the forefront of technology.PHOVA Technology is committed to working with leading companies and academic partners in order to pool expertise, develop innovative solutions, create sustainable value and achieve common goals.
Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP)
PHOVA Technology benefits from the strong expertise of OCP, the world leader in the phosphate market, the world's largest exporter of phosphate and phosphoric acid and one of the main exporters of phosphate fertilizers. By building partnerships that share a common philosophy, we aim to advance research and development and ensure transition to a cutting-edge technology.
The industrial, commercial and financial transformation that the Group has undergone in recent years has been accompanied by a cultural transformation of the company aimed at enhancing one of its main competitive advantages, the human capital.
In this sense, the new dynamic, called "the movement", is an initiative to liberate energies, encouraging collective intelligence and encouraging the release of potential and giving free rein to creativity. This dynamic gives employees the means and the time to work on the subject of their choice, to create value for the Group, while allowing them to take pleasure in leaving their comfort zone to innovate.
Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P)
PHOVA Technology has sealed strategic partnerships with several entities under UM6P, including the MSN, 1337, P-Curiosity LAB, ILO, and ASCC, which promote learning through experimentation and practice. This academic proximity to industry brings PHOVA Technology the development of specific R&I topics and ultimately migration to a self-sufficient production of industrial machinery accompanied by a range of associated services meeting the requirements of its customers.
Materials Science and Nanoengineering (MSN)
Research, teaching and innovation entity within UM6P. It is composed of 5 divisions: Energy Efficiency, Surface Technology, Polymers and Composites, Phosphates and Sustainability and Metallurgy. All divisions share state-of- the-art laboratories and mutual spaces to encourage interdisciplinarity and innovation.
High Throughput Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory (HTMR)
PHOVA Technology partners with the HTMR to access high-performance computing resources, advanced material research and characterization, as well as prototype manufacturing and performance testing.
This allows us to develop new materials more resistant to extreme conditions and improve the performance of our customers' industrial activities.
All of these efforts to accelerate POCs foster an entrepreneurial spirit among all UM6P participants. The lab gains hands-on experience by selecting projects in key sectors and especially in the OCP's strategic business portfolio. On the other hand, the objective is to position the HTMR-Lab as a reference technology service provider.
1337 Coding School
PHOVA Technology partners with the 1337 school, a leading computer coding school in Morocco. The school provides free, 24/7 access to computer science education for students of all backgrounds and skill levels. The partnership allows PHOVA Technology to stay at the forefront of computer science and coding, and to recruit top talent from the 1337 school.
P-Curiosity LAB
PHOVA Technology partners with P-Curiosity Lab, an innovation lab focused on developing solutions to improve the socio-economic well-being, sustainability and environmental health of rural communities. The partnership allows PHOVA Technology to explore new avenues for innovation, and to contribute its expertise to the lab's research and development activities.
African Supercomputing Center (ASCC)
PHOVA Technology works with the African Supercomputing Center, a research facility of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University that provides High Performance Computing (HPC) services to researchers across Morocco and Africa. The ASCC is equipped with state-of-the-art HPC equipment, and PHOVA Technology leverages this partnership to optimize its numerical simulations and modeling.
Innovation Lab for Operations (ILO)
PHOVA Technology works with the Innovation Lab for Operations, a laboratory within the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, which aims to develop and manage infrastructures, demonstrators and other test tools focused on industrial digitization, to help OCP and other industrial stakeholders improve their competitiveness.
AgriEdge
AgriEdge is a program launched by OCP Group that aims to assist farmers in areas such as irrigation and best practices for using pumping equipment to optimize water and energy consumption and minimize maintenance costs. The program utilizes advanced technology and data analysis to provide effective decision support tools to aid in sustainable agriculture development.
AgriEdge is also an incubated startup by the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University of Ben Guerir, utilizing platform "Agri Analytics Days" to explore big data in agriculture to provide actionable decision support.
Modeling, Simulation and Data Analysis (MSDA)
The Modeling, Simulation and Data Analysis (MSDA) is a Research Program on mathematical and phenomenological modeling, numerical simulation and data analysis.
The entity is structured around three axes:
Phenomenological modeling
Numerical simulation
Statistical modeling and data analysis
