The PHB2 Series is a high-performance between-bearings, radially split centrifugal pump fully compliant with API 610 / ISO 13709 Type BB2. It is specifically designed for high-pressure, high-temperature, and critical reliability applications commonly encountered in oil & gas, petrochemical, desalination, and power generation industries.

Robust API-Compliant Construction

The PHB2 combines rugged construction, premium metallurgy, and precision CNC machining to deliver exceptional reliability, even under extreme operating stresses. The radially split casing allows fast access to internal components without disturbing suction and discharge piping, significantly reducing downtime and simplifying maintenance. Both suction and discharge flanges are supplied with minimum ASME B16.5 Class 300 rating, with optional upgrades to Class 600 and 900 for high-pressure service.

Hydraulic & Mechanical Excellence

Designed with a double-suction impeller for balanced axial thrust, the PHB2 ensures smooth operation and extended bearing life. The impeller is optimized for low NPSH and can be supplied in single- or two-stage configurations. The complete rotating assembly is dynamically balanced per API standards, keeping vibration levels low and ensuring long service intervals.

The pump utilizes heavy-duty bearing housings with single-row radial bearings and back-to-back angular contact thrust bearings, protected by non-contact bearing isolators to prevent contamination and oil leakage. Shaft deflection remains within API 610 limits, enhancing seal reliability and maximizing equipment life.

API-Compliant Sealing & Material Flexibility

The sealing system follows API 682 standards and supports single, double, or tandem cartridge seals, with flush and quench plans such as Plan 11, 21, and 53A/B. PHOVA provides full API material classes (S4, S5, S6, S8, S9) to ensure compatibility with corrosive, abrasive, and high-temperature fluids. Materials range from carbon steel to 12% CR, 316 Austenitic Stainless Steel, and Nickel-Copper Alloys.
